In this easy piano tutorial (for beginners), you will learn how to play the Christmas song, The First Noel. Actually, there are three tutorials to choose from. In the first tutorial, we take a look at the melody only. You will learn how to play the melody of The first Noel with your right hand. In the second video tutorial, you will learn how to play the melody of the song, as well as a very easy one note at a time left hand part. In video three, you will learn how to play the melody, as well as very simple major chords.
Start by learning the melody or right hand part, then after you’re fairly good at it, learn either the simple left hand part or the chords. This is a very easy song to play and is great for beginners.

Chords
I’ve kept it very simple for the beginner. Only three major chords are used. These chords are C major, F major and G major, the three primary chords or I IV V chords in the key of C major. Here’s the chord progression:

Chord Notes
What are the notes of each chord? For the benefit of the beginner, the notes of the C major chord are C, E and G. The notes of the F major chord are F, A and C. The notes of the G major chord are G, B and D.
