Video 3 – How To Play O Christmas Tree – Piano Tutorial

This is where you learn how to play chords plus melody. Instead of the one note at a time left hand part, you can play chords.

O Christmas Tree Piano Chords

The chords for this song are F major, C major, D minor, G minor, C dominant seventh and F suspended fourth.  If you’re new to chords, don’t you worry; the notes of each chord are shown in the video as well as below.

Here’s the chord progression:

F C Dm Gm C7 Fsus4 F
F C Dm Gm C7 Fsus4 F
F Gm C F
F C Dm Gm C7 Fsus4 F

Chord Notes:

Here are the notes of each chord as played in the video tutorial. The notes of each chord are hyphenated.

C-F-A C-E-G D-F-A D-G-B♭ C-E-G-B♭ C-F-B♭ C-F-A
C-F-A C-E-G D-F-A D-G-B♭ C-E-G-B♭ C-F-B♭ C-F-A
C-F-A D-G-B♭ C-E-G-B♭ C-F-A
C-F-A C-E-G D-F-A D-G-B♭ C-E-G-B♭ C-F-B♭ C-F-A

F major: C-F-A
C major: C-E-G
D minor: D-F-A
G minor: D-G-B♭
C dominant seventh: C-E-G-B♭
F suspended fourth: C-F-B♭

Some of the chords are played in root position and some are inverted.

What do I mean by “root position” and “inverted”? Briefly, a chord can be played in its root position and can also be inverted. For example, in root position, the notes of the C major chord are played in the order, C-E-G. In its first inversion, it’s played in the order, E-G-C and in its second inversion, the C major chord is played with notes in the order, G-C-E.  Notice that the same notes, C, E and G are used each time.

DJ Snake ft. Justin Bieber Let Me Love You Piano Cover

Here’s my DJ Snake featuring Justin Bieber Let Me Love You piano cover and instrumental. Actually, I made two versions of the song. In the first video, I am playing the song at the original tempo of 100 bpms. In the second video, I decided to take things down a notch and slow down the tempo. I think this slower version gives the song a bit of a different vibe.

Listen to both versions of DJ Snake and Justin Bieber’s Let Me Love you and you can let me know what you think. There are many ways to play this song on piano and I’m sure there are so many covers all over YouTube and the Internet at large. Thanks for allowing me to humbly share mine with you.

I am playing this song on a 61-key Yamaha MM6 keyboard. The chords I’m playing are  C minor, E flat major, G minor, A flat major, G major, B flat major and F minor. The main pattern of chords is Cm E♭ Gm A♭ Gm A♭. For the pre-chorus, the chords are A♭ Cm B♭ Fm. For the fast version, I’m playing the root note of each chord, an interval of a fifth from the root note, as well as an octave, with the left hand. I do this for most of the song with slight variations. With the right hand, I’m playing the melody of the song as well as a few harmonies at times.

Here’s video 1. (The regular tempo.) I hope you like it.

DJ Snake ft Justin Bieber Let Me Love You Piano Cover and Instrumental (Regular Tempo)

For the second video, as I said, I am playing it slowly. This allows me to do so much more with the chords and harmony. I was able to put a lot of feeling into it. At least, that’s what I think. Lol. It meant that I only played the introduction, one verse and chorus so as to keep it short and sweet. The lyrics are included. Hope you enjoy it.

Video 2. (Slower ballad tempo.)

I created a piano tutorial of this song for absolute beginners. It’s much simpler that the above.

Thanks for watching my videos and joining me on my musical journey. I really appreciate the fact that you took your time to do so. My name is Mantius Cazaubon. All the best.

How To Play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star on Piano and Keyboard – The Chords

Justin Bieber Sorry Piano Cover and Instrumental

Okay. Here’s my Justin Bieber Sorry piano cover and instrumental. I hope you like it. I am playing this song on a Yamaha MM6 61-key keyboard and recording it with Cubase recording software. I am using the live piano HALion voice/tone that Cubase comes with.

With my left hand, I am playing octaves of the root note of the chords as well as the fifth. I am playing two patterns. The first or main one is A♭-E♭-A♭, C-G-C, B♭-F-B♭. The other sequence is  F-C-F, A♭-E♭-A♭, B♭-F-B♭.  The chords for the song are A flat major, C minor, B flat major and F minor. The main pattern of chords is A flat major – C minor – B flat major. The other pattern is F minor – A flat major – B flat major.

Justin Bieber – Sorry – Piano Cover and Instrumental

With the right hand, I am playing the melody of the song and adding harmonies at times to make it sound a bit fuller. I am taking these harmonies from the chords of the song. At times, when there’s a pause in the melody (the part the singer sings), I play the chords of the song.

I made an easy tutorial of this song for beginners. Learn how to play the melody of this song as well as an easy left hand part or chords.

The song, Sorry is recorded by Canadian singer Justin Bieber for his fourth studio album, Purpose (2015). It was written by Julia Michaels, Justin Tranter, Sonny Moore, Michael Tucker and Justin Bieber. Sorry was produced by Skrillex and Blood.

Hope you enjoyed my video, Justin Bieber Sorry Piano Cover & Instrumental. I love the feedback it has gotten so far and it inspires me to do more piano covers. I hope you like it too. 🙂 My name is Mantius Cazaubon. All the best.

Update:

I made a new video of me playing the song slowly. I wanted to change the mood a bit. Hope you like it.

“Is it too late now to say sorry?
Cause I’m missing more than just your body
Is it too late now to say sorry?
Yeah I know that I let you down
Is it too late to say that I’m sorry now?”

This is great for the beginner who wants to keep things nice and simple. Start by learning the melody of the song, then when you have a firm grasp of it, you can bring in the left hand part.

There’s another tutorial where you learn how to play the chords of the song. This song consists of four chords, A flat major, C minor, B flat major and F minor. Learn to play the melody with the right hand, then bring in the chords afterwards.

I will also post a video where I cover the song. Clearly, there are many ways to play this song on piano. When you know the correct melody and the chords (or left hand notes), you can always improvise.

The notes and chords of this song can be found below. Start by watching the video, then check out the notes and chords lower down this page to make it easier for you.

Just in case… The notes of the A♭ major chord are A♭, C and E♭. I am playing the A♭ chord with the notes in this order: E♭-A♭-C. The notes of the C minor chord are C, E♭ and G. I am playing the Cm chord with the notes in this order: E♭-G-C. The notes of the B flat major chord are B♭, D and F. I am playing the B♭ chord with the notes in this order: D-F-B♭. The notes of the F minor chord are F, A♭ and C. I am playing the Fm chord with the notes in this order: C-F-A♭. I am simply playing inversions of the chords.

Video – Justin Bieber Sorry Piano Cover & Instrumental

Here’s my cover of this song. I hope you like it. 🙂

In this piano cover or instrumental, I am playing these groups of notes with my left hand. The main sequence of bass notes is A♭-E♭-A♭, C-G-C, B♭-F-B♭. The other sequence is  F-C-F, A♭-E♭-A♭, B♭-F-B♭.

While I’m playing these bass notes with the left hand, I am playing the melody with my right hand and occasionally adding harmonies. In other words, at times, I am adding an extra one or two notes to the melody and riff of the song. I am taking notes from the chords (and adding them to the melody). At times, when there’s a break in the melody, I play chords with the right hand.

I hope you learned a lot from this tutorial. I hope you loved it. Go here to learn about my piano courses. They will help you understand the piano more clearly, and play better. All the best.
